Hi! I’m Kandi Shejavali. Inspired by the vision of sustainable prosperity – i.e., societies where everyone thrives within planetary boundaries –, I founded RM3 Consulting as an enterprise dedicated to elevating the efforts of mission-driven leaders as they seek to make the world a better place.
As a graduate of the Wagner School of Public Service at New York University (NYU), my experience includes collaborations on dozens of programs run by international development agencies, foundations, nonprofits, and governments across multiple sectors, all seeking to improve societal conditions for more widespread wellbeing. I leverage this world-class expertise and deep, first-hand experience to help my amazing clients navigate evolving contexts while delivering measurable results, qualify for and retain funding, and deepen impact.

How it works
My process.
Whether you’re looking for support in the form of consulting or coaching, my process broadly follows the same six steps so you know what to expect from start to finish. This six-step process has been honed over the course of dozens of collaborations with my amazing clients and is designed to help you maximize the value of working with me.
1.
Discovery
The process begins with a conversation – or series of conversations, if needed – to allow you to clarify your needs, goals, and current challenges. Once I gain a good understanding of where you are and where you’d like to be, we move to Step 2.
2.
Research and co-creation
Step 2 of the process is our opportunity to clarify the scope of your project based on the available evidence. This step involves research, analysis, and strategic assessment to identify opportunities and risks and to agree on the best way forward to achieve your objectives.
3.
Strategy and planning
Based on the findings and agreed way forward defined in step 2, I develop a comprehensive strategy that aligns with your objectives. This includes defining the approach, timing, and key milestones of the project, defining what success looks like. When you sign off on the plan, we move to Step 3.
4.
Develop and execute
We bring the strategy to life through thoughtful project development and careful implementation. A collaborative way of working ensures that every detail meets your requirements and expectations.
5.
Review, reflect, optimize
Built-in governance mechanisms with regular touch-points allow us to jointly and continuously monitor performance and gather feedback to refine and improve execution. The iterative process ensures long-term success and impact.
6.
Debrief and handover
As part of my core commitment to leave increased capability behind, the debrief and handover done in this step facilitates your continued forward momentum beyond the period of our collaboration – most importantly to optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of your work.
Deep commitment to, and growing knowledge of, regenerative (socio-)economy principles
Given the current polycrisis that our ‘business-as-usual’ economy has produced, it is evident that we need to do things differently. I’ve long been convinced that we can co-create an economic system that enables all segments of humanity to flourish without destroying the planet and its biodiversity. After years of independent learning, I’m pursuing the Lift Economy MBA to better equip myself to advise public and private sector leaders on how to meaningfully translate commitment to environmental and social justice into practical, impactful action that creates conditions in which all forms of Life can flourish within planetary limits.

Rich cross-sectoral international experience
My work has spanned multiple sectors. Having successfully collaborated on programs funded by various bilateral and multilateral international development agencies, foundations, and other entities and implemented in Africa, Asia, Eurasia, Latin America and the Caribbean, North America, and the Pacific, I know how to adapt to different requirements and contexts and have both remote and in-country experience.
